The World Championship is in full swing here at Shefield. It is being held at this theatre place called The Crucible. I just found out at that apparently they have been organising this tournament here in Sheffield for years. But I still don't know why they organise such grand event here instead of other bigger towns such as Manchester, Birmingham or even London...
They open a small hall in the heart of the city centre to promote the event. In there they provide a table where people can play for free, they even got a small tournament of fastest red ball clearence goin on. Other than that, there are also a set of computers and X-box consoles for people to play snooker games...
They also display three snooker tournament trophies, the LG Masters, the World Championships and the other one which I don't remember. Sometimes snooker players would go there to meet with the fans, but so far I have not managed to see any of them yet..isk isk isk..
